We all remember seeing Didier Drogba place the ball down on the penalty spot, take two steps back and then rest his gaze on Manuel Neuer. This was the Ivorian’s chance to make history. And being the man for the big occasion, Drogba coolly slid the ball past the Bayern Munich ‘keeper, and all the German could do was watch. Chelsea were crowned Champions of Europe.
